The New Typography by Jan Tchichold was published in Berlin in 1928, and first published in english in 1995. The book is based of graphic design and type in the machine age. The book was published in a form of Tschichold's original type and design. This is a really good book for those who are intrested in the evolution of visual communication in the twentieth century. There are many different kind of physical apearances to this book but still put in this very simple style. It consists of geometrical shapes and three colors (red, yellow, and black). The type also looks very kerned in between letters and also columns in between.
