My way to Typography-Weingart

"My way to Typography" is a seminal view of the thinking and unlikely influences which have affected Weingart's development, supported by type illustrations, photographs, posters and collages..." "For the first time readers will see an overview of his work - the author having painstakingly recreated old projects, including the contents of his sketchbooks from the past forty years." "Within 520 pages the irreverent Weingart offers an uncharacteristically personal glimpse into his life.

I found this book at the Albert B. Alkek Library, 7th floor, but I notice that the front and back covers are black and not in color (orange and yellow) like on the original book. If you look at this book at first it might look boring because its a big book very thick also, but once you look through some of the pages it can be interesting, because just by looking at some of the pages you get the feeling that the book was made by hand, because of the type illustrations, collages  photographs, the thickness of the pages and also the type of paper that was used to make the book (kind of like sketchbook paper)
