Debbie Millman is the creator and host of the DesignMatters podcast. She is the President and a partner of the design division at Sterling Brands and she is also the author of many books such as "How to Think Like a Great Graphic Designer"(2007). Her podcast airs on Sterlingbrands.com and Designobserver.com.
In the podcast Debbie interviews designers, illustrators and writers about anything from their childhood to their education and their current career.
In her most recent podcast (1.11.13) Debbie interviews Marion Deuchars, who is an illustrator, designer and author. She is well-known for her hand lettering. Her hand-lettering has been featured on the cover of Esquire, in the Guardian, in the cookbooks of Jamie Oliver and on Royal Mail Stamps.
I am glad that I now know about this resource, it may be helpful in the future to gain insight and inspiration.
