About Face: Reviving the rules of typography

SO, I went to the library, and my book was mysteriously missing from the shelf. Luckily thanks to the internet, I was able to get a pretty good idea of what the book is about.

About Face: Reviving the rules of typography by David Jury talks about the fact that, due to computers, some type rules have sort of disappeared or become forgotten. However, typography still remains an extremely crucial part of graphic design as we know it today. Basic typography rules are gone over, which is nice for beginners, but the book looks a bit advanced in some areas so it would not be a boring read for those more advanced typographers. The book has a lot of examples and shows typography at work with designers from around the world.
