Fonts In Use

Fonts In Use was first launched in December 2010 as a Blog. They updated the site in July 2012 and introduced "the Collection" which is a larger database open to contributions from visitors. It is now a public archive of many various designs and interesting typography. The vistors of the site can upload their own work or any other typography that they find interesting and write their opinion on it as well as comment on others.You can browse through the site by industry, format, or typeface. Visitors can also create a page of their personal contributions along with a profile and bio. The purpose of the site is to keep record of interesting typography and to analyze their designs. It's main goal is to create a better understanding and appreciation of typography. This site can be very useful for identifying typefaces by name that you may have seen before as well as showing you what typographic designs are popluar and being used today.
