Overview of Detail in Typography
Since Detail in Typography has been checked out of Alkek and I was unable to look at it physically so it is hard to give a good description of the physical copy. By reading descriptions online the book seems to be a small paperback that isn't very hefty. The cover is clearly very minimal with only the title vertically positioned and with the author and title again in the top left. Remaining is only spot colour of a brief description of the content. Inside the book seems to be beautifully done with spot colour of horizontal rules to separate different sections as well as a good use of type hierarchy. Overall the book seems to be very straightforward and concise perceived by the photos of the pages and the thinness of the book. It also seems to be very straightforward from what I can view of the pages.
