Back Cover
Back Cover is a french magazine that focuses directly on graphic design and typography, by way of articles, interviews, and critical analysis while incorporating the images of various designer's work. The magazine's fresh look on type and design allows for a distinct style that essentially manipulates type in various ways that are remiscent of DADA; with their use of color and lack of attention to aesthetically pleasing and legible type on their front and back covers, as well as in some of the text and the work they choose to display. The layout of the articles and body type is mapped out in a distinct and tight manner with a uniform font. This magazine may be useful to any designer who wishes to integrate an experimental style that does not lose the intergrity of the articles and work presented. This magazine is exciting and enthralling and I plan on keeping it in my resources so that I may incorporate the ideas it inspires into my work.
