I Love Typography was created by British-born Vietnam-resident John Boardley, with the intention to make the subjects of typography, type design, and lettering more accessible to the public. I Love Typography covers a wide variety of typographic topics including new typeface releases, the history of the alphabet, how to create your own typeface, and type terminology, and type designer history. It also includes interviews with prolific graphic and type designers such as Ellen Lupton, Neil Summerour, and Kris Sowersby.
I Love Typography provides many links and resources to hone readers' type skills and expand type libraries. For example, the website features monthly typeface selections, introducing readers to new typefaces regularly. I Love Typography also offers a typeface identification game for the iPhone, training players to quickly identify over 1000 type samples.
Boardley also publishes Codex: The Journal of Typography, a magazine exploring fonts, graphic design, lettering, and typography.
