I chose this video because its beautiful use of kinetic typography, paired up with a wonderful speech from the movie "Network". The speech is very inspiring, and having the typography animated to go along with the dialogue only heightens the emotion. The typeface used appears to be helvetica, with a subtle drop shadow. I feel that this video can help me, and other students in the future, by showing how using type in an animated video, such as this, can have such a powerful outcome. I know that this video made me very interested in kinetic type, and it is something I hope to learn more about.
