Kinetic Typography/ Michael Villegas

Habitat for Humanity

In this short clip for Habitat for Humanity the Kinetic type comes into play with the use of blocks being rearranged by sets of hands. The audience is obviously the people they hope will contribute to the organization and it's efforts.  The type itself looks like a transitional serif, possibly Garamond or Jenson, maybe not a perfect match but close. I think what I would take away from this and use in my future projects is the subtle message sent by the blocks being rearranged by the hands which is that what your contributing to is an organization that is powered by people trying to help people. The use of this type of movement helps reinforce the positive message they are trying to send.
